Dr. Erome Hankore is a Pathway to Faculty Fellow within the Department of Chemistry at Wayne State University. She earned her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she specialised in chemical biology and biocatalysis. Her analysis targeted on genetic code expansion, the development of biocatalysts for biofuel manufacturing, and kinase dynamics for drug discovery. Dr. Hankore additionally completed postdoctoral research in pure product biosynthesis and protein engineering at the sam frank erome University of Kentucky’s College of Pharmacy. Currently, Dr. Hankore research kinases using a proteomics strategy, using ATP analogs developed by the Pflum lab to elucidate kinase-substrate interactions in cells.
